Neuro-oncology, pharmacology, neuroscience, stem cells, mouse models of nervous system disorders, psychiatric genetics, craniofacial disorders, bioinformatics.

Intérêts de recherche
The laboratory of Dr. Kamnasaran studies craniofacial and nervous system diseases using a wide variety of techniques. Our principal objectives on the study of craniofacial and nervous system diseases are to: 1) improve the accuracy of diagnosis using both clinical and molecular strategies; 2) improve our understanding of the molecular mechanisms; and 3) discover and characterize improved therapies. Our research is supported by the establishment of research teams both locally and worldwide.

Techniques
Proteomics, genomics, bioinformatics, cell biology, biochemistry, stem cell characterization and manipulation, pharmacology, neuroscience, molecular genetics.
